Indian Air Force planes take off to rescue Indians stranded in Ukraine
Russian troops have been on the offensive in Ukraine for the seventh day. The Russian military has also occupied residential areas in major cities such as the capital Kiev and Kharkiv, capturing areas.

Tensions have also risen over the foreign ministry’s announcement yesterday (March 1) that the Indian embassy in Ukraine had ordered the immediate evacuation of Indians from the capital, Kharkiv.
Meanwhile, two Indian Air Force planes have departed from Hindon Air Force Base to Hungary and Romania to rescue Indians in Ukraine.
