Mani Ratnam is currently directing the epic Ponni’s Selvan at a huge cost. The film is being produced by Mani Ratnam through his Madras Talkies. The film, which will be released in two parts, is currently in the final stages of completion.
The film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha among others. The crew has announced that the film will be released in September. The cast and crew of the film have all gone to see the next phase of work as filming is now over and final work is underway.
In this situation, Mani Ratnam wanted to make some missing scenes in the film. That means some scenes between Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Rai are missing. Mani Ratnam has approached Aishwarya to take it back.
