Al-Dabaiba discusses service and political files with the mayors of the municipalities of the eastern and southern regions

During his meeting with the mayors of the municipalities of the eastern and southern regions, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, head of the National Unity Government, stressed the need to unify national efforts to complete the constitution and hold a referendum on it, to reach legislative and presidential elections that will be the basic foundation for building and stabilizing the nation.

This came during his meeting today with the mayors of the municipalities of Ubari, Ghat, Umm Al-Razm, Al-Abraq, Al-Bayda, Wardama, Sabha, Tigrahi, Zala, Derna, Jalo, Omar Al-Mukhtar, the Green Mountain Coast, Al-Barakat, Burqan, Al-Gharifa, Zuwailah, Ras Al-Hilal, Wadi Ataba, Marada, Al-Sharqiya, Wadi Al-Bawanis, Al-Qatrun, Bint Bayyah, Idri Al-Shati, Taraghin, Antalat Al-Baydan, and Al-Jawf Al-Gharbi. The Prime Minister directed the executive agencies to focus on water and sanitation projects, due to the urgent need for them in municipalities that have been neglected for many years, pointing out the necessity of eliminating shanty and dilapidated schools, and providing an appropriate educational environment, while giving priority to these issues in development plans.

For his part, the Dean of the Municipality of Qatroun, on behalf of the mayors of the municipalities, affirmed their support for the efforts of the National Unity Government to strengthen local administration, through decisions organizing the transfer of sectoral competencies and the implementation of a number of urgent and important development projects.
