/ Al-Qasim Club management, on Wednesday, named coach Ali Abdul-Jabbar as coach of its football team, succeeding resigned coach Jasib Sultan.

Abdul-Jabbar told Agency, “The administration contacted him officially and asked him to lead the team for the remainder of the league, succeeding the sacked coach, Jasib Sultan.”

He added, “We agreed on all points of the contract, including the technical and financial ones, and he will officially take over the task of the Al-Qassim team in the upcoming matches.”

He explained, “The team has good players, but they were not lucky in the previous matches, especially since a good coach led them through the previous seven stages.”

He pointed out that he “is seeking to reconcile with the Al-Qasim team and achieve good results that will bring it back to normal.”

The former Al-Qassem coach, Jaseb Sultan, submitted his resignation from coaching Al-Qassem Club, after losing to Naft Maysan by three clean goals, holding Al-Qassem management responsible.
