Amanat Baghdad Club won first place in the Iraqi Club Free Wrestling Championship, which concluded its competitions today, Sunday, at the Al-Shaab International Stadium hall, with the participation of (8) clubs, where the Al-Hashd Club team came in second place and the Adhamiya Club came in third place.
A club statement – received by the (INA) – stated that “wrestler Khattab Omar, weighing (57), won first place, Ali Arkan Samir, weighing (61), won the silver medal, and Abdullah Arkan Subhi, weight (65), won the gold medal, and won Shahid Hussein Khalid, weighing 65, won the bronze medal, Muhammad Jawad Zuhair, weighing 70, won the gold medal, and Nawras Hussein Muhammad, weight, won the gold medal. (74) for the silver medal.”
He added, “Wrestler Ibrahim Nahed Karim, weight (79), won the gold medal, Ali Hassan Ali, weight (79), won the silver medal, Mustafa Salah Majeed, weight (86), won the gold medal, and Mustafa Abdel Basset, weight (92), won the gold medal.”
