The South Korean technology giant “Samsung” revealed one of the most distinguished smart gaming screens (Odyssey Neo G7), which comes with unique specifications, especially as it is the first flat screen with (Mini-LED) technology from the (Odyssey) series of gaming screens that are usually curved. .
Samsung said in a statement that the new screen offers a large viewing area designed to give gamers a broader range of vision and detail.
The new Samsung monitor, which bears the model name (G70NC), measures 43 inches and has a resolution of (4K), with support for (VESA Display HDR600) and (HDR10+) image technologies.
The (Odyssey Neo G7) screen features support for (Quantum Matrix) technology from Samsung, which uses (Quantum Mini LED) lights to provide, according to the company, ultra-precise control of densely packed (LED) lights. As a result, “users can see blacks more clearly, and other colors with superior accuracy, even in dark gaming environments.”
In addition, Samsung said that the (Odyssey Neo G7) matte screen reduces light reflection from it, which reduces distractions during gaming sessions. She added that, using the (DisplayPort 1.4) or two (HDMI 2.1) ports, it can be connected to the latest gaming platforms.
Mobile games can also be streamed to the screen via built-in Bluetooth 5.2 or Wi-Fi technology, in addition to the ability to connect the screen to an arm to control cloud games without the need for a gaming platform.
Samsung said that the frequency rate of 144 Hz and the response time, which does not exceed 1 millisecond, allow for a quick response and smooth gameplay by supporting (AMD FreeSync Premium Pro) technology.
The Flex Move Screen feature allows users to adjust the display area of the screen between 43 and 20 inches to suit their preferred size based on the game they are playing and even change the position of the screen. To customize their performance, gamers can use the Samsung Game Bar, which enables users to quickly view and change important settings without having to leave the game screen.
In the game bar, players can see and change the frame rate per second (FPS), aspect ratio, high dynamic range (HDR), variable refresh rate (VRR), and can adjust settings such as response time and game picture mode.
Users can use the screen to instantly access content streaming services: Prime Video from Amazon, YouTube and others through the Samsung Smart Hub platform. They can also easily access game streaming services, such as: NVIDIA GeForce Now, via the Samsung Gaming Hub.
Without addressing the price, Samsung said that the (Odyssey Neo G7) screen will be available globally from the first quarter of 2023, with launch schedules varying by region.
