There are allegations of domestic violence against the DSDS juror. While RTL continues to stick with Pietro Lombardi, other partners seem to be drawing conclusions.
A fight with his fiancée could have not only private but also professional consequences for Pietro Lombardi. On the night of October 7th there was a heated argument between the singer and Laura Maria Rypa. The police arrived and the influencer was said to have been taken to a clinic.
Since then, the question has been raised as to whether Lombardi became violent towards her. His lawyer denied these allegations and said: “As part of this emotional argument there was also mutual touching, but not our client using violence against his fiancée.”
The broadcaster RTL, for which Lombardi can currently be seen as a juror on “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, is still sticking with the musician. “We continue to be in close contact with those involved and the public prosecutor’s office in order to clear up the allegations as quickly as possible,” it said in a statement on Friday, which is available to t-online.
Other partners of the 32-year-old, however, already seem to be drawing conclusions. As “Bild” now reports, Amazon Prime is said to have canceled the premiere party of the new show “Licht aus”. This was planned for October 30th in Berlin. The newspaper has an email from the streaming service in which the invited guests are informed of the decision. “In view of the current media situation, it is important to us to protect both the show and all participants from negative feedback or misguided focus in the reporting,” is the reason given.
Lombardi is one of the participants in the pre-recorded show, which is scheduled to air on Amazon Prime from October 31st. It is moderated by Steven Gätjen, and also includes actors Luna Schweiger and Gedeon Burkhard, presenters Jeannine Michaelsen and Jochen Schropp, comedians Negah Amiri and Timur Turga and model Gloria Sophie Burkandt.
After the incident became known, Lombardi and Rypa reported to Instagram with an identical written statement: “The press is trying to aggravate the conflict even more and often doesn’t take some statements very seriously. We don’t want that, so we won’t do that here “Provide a platform and act in the interests of our children so that the public is kept out,” it says. Since then there has been radio silence.
The singer and the influencer officially became a couple in 2020 and then had a turbulent on-off relationship. After a love comeback, they finally announced in 2022 that they were expecting offspring. In October of the same year, Lombardi asked for Rypa’s hand in marriage, and a few weeks later their first son, Leano Romeo, was born. His little brother Amelio Elija was born six weeks ago.
