An actor from “Stranger things” organizes a comics convention in Lloret de Mar

Actors of series like game of thrones i Stranger things and of films of the sagas of Star Wars, Indiana Jones o The Hobbit will participate this fall in a convention for lovers of comics and series in Lloret de Mar. This is the first edition of Comic Con Costa Brava, which will be held on October 14 and 15powered by the British actor of Ukrainian origin Alec Utgoff, popular for his participation in Stranger things and with a house in Lloret de Mar.

Utgott assures that “the Costa Brava and Lloret de Mar have a long tradition of cinema and audiovisual productions and the Comic Con Costa Brava convention will offer an entertainment space where fans can share experiences and their passion with their idols”.

In the thematic meeting there is planned an cosplayer contest and the assistance of technology and merchandising companieswhich will have stands to sell products related to Game of Thrones, The Hobbit, Stranger Things and Star Warsbut without a doubt the great attraction of the convention will be the presence of some of the actors who appear there.

In this first edition, the presence of actors such as Tom Wlaschiha, who played the role of Jaqen H’ghar, has been confirmedn of the Faceless Men of Braavos and Arya Stark’s mentor in the series game of thrones

Two of the performers in the television adaptation of George RR Martin’s books that will be in Lloret de Mar are the actor Bernard Hill, who played Lord Terrence Tymber; i Julian Glover, who was acting as Grand Master Pycelle.

Glover, however, is also a familiar face among lovers of two renowned film sagas, The war of the galaxies -played General Veers in Episode V, The empire strikes back– and the one starring archaeologist Indiana Jones, for his role as Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Comic Con Costa Brava will be held in the auditorium of the Gran Casino Costa Brava and expect to gather around 3,000 visitors throughout the weekend.
