As explained by the highest international soccer body, the kiss to Hermoso and his attitude during the celebration of the title “could constitute violations of articles 13.1 and 13.2 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.”

Although FIFA warned that it will not offer more public communications during the investigation of the case, it indicated its “absolute” commitment to respect the integrity of people.
