An Australian woman has run a marathon every day for 150 days, a world record

Erchana Murray Bartlett is an Australian marathon runner. The 32-year-old was initially a professional runner.

But after missing out on qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics he turned his attention to another lifelong dream. He decided to run a marathon around the whole of Australia. He also wanted to break the Guinness World Record holder Kate Jaden’s record of running a marathon every day for 106 days.

Accordingly, 5 months ago, Murray started his marathon from one end of Australia to the southern border of the country.

He ran the marathon to raise awareness of the disaster affecting Australian animals and plants. Murray continued to run marathons without stopping even when he faced many problems like fatigue, body blisters and swollen feet due to running marathons. Accordingly, he ran a marathon every day for 150 days and covered 6,300 km. completed the distance.

By doing so, Murray has broken Kate Jaden’s record and set the world record for the woman who has run a marathon every day for the most days.
