The companies “Korever Company” of our compatriot Rakhil Akhmedova, living in Seoul, Republic of Korea, and the Turkish “Eventi Venti” organized the first concert of the famous Korean musical group “TRENDZ” in Istanbul.
As Day.Az was informed by the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Work with Diaspora, Rakhil Akhmedovaan honorary citizen of Seoul, is working to strengthen ties between Korea and Azerbaijan and popularize Korean culture.
“Korever Company” under the motto “We build connections between Korea and the world” provides professional consulting services for the successful activities of Korean companies in Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The concert, which became one of the company’s regular projects and was held with great success in Istanbul, was greeted by fans with great interest; it was remembered for the excellent stage performance of the group with their favorite songs. Rakhil Akhmedova emphasized that the main goal of the event is to popularize Korean culture and reunite Korean popular music (K-pop) with its fans in Turkey and Azerbaijan. She noted that this could be considered an important step for the development of cultural ties between Korea and Turkey.
Considered a part of Korean culture, the K-pop music genre is currently very popular all over the world. K-pop is increasingly becoming a large-scale music subculture with millions of fans among young people.
