The UN Security Council will meet next Wednesday to consider the decision of the International Court of Justice, which called on the Zionist entity to prevent any act of genocide in the Gaza Strip.

This meeting, which is being held on Wednesday, comes at the request of Algeria in order to give binding force to the ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding the temporary measures imposed on the Zionist occupation, according to what the Algerian Foreign Ministry said.

Yesterday, Friday, the International Court of Justice rejected the Zionist entity’s request to dismiss the lawsuit filed by South Africa.

During the session, the court stated: “We are aware of the tragedy in Gaza, and are deeply concerned about the loss of life there.”

She added that she was “very aware of the tragedy taking place in Gaza and condemns the ongoing killing there,” adding: “We are deeply concerned about the continued loss of life in Gaza.”

The court’s president, Justice Joan Donoghue, said: “The court can take interim measures if the circumstances satisfy Articles 7 and 9 of the court’s charter.”

The court called on the Zionist entity to prevent any act of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
