Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, is waiting for an exceptional achievement during the match against Celta Vigo, today, Saturday, in the tenth round of La Liga, at the Balaidos Stadium.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, the Celta Vigo match is scheduled to be Ancelotti’s 200th in La Liga.
Ancelotti’s tally in the Spanish League includes 142 victories, 33 draws, and 24 defeats, and he is achieving his best streak without losing with 41 consecutive matches, as he is close to breaking Barcelona’s club record. Ancelotti also crossed the barrier of 300 matches with Real Madrid this season.
When asked about this new achievement, Ancelotti said: “There are many beautiful memories, and some are not. I did not know this number, but I think the goal here is to reach the largest possible number of matches and I will try to reach 300 matches in the Spanish League. Let’s see if I wouldn’t have achieved that.”
