Anabel Hernandez is a well-known investigative journalist who has portrayed the life of Mexican drug trafficking, in addition to the political and entertainment relations with him, same ones that have been exposed in various textbooks.
The journalist pointed out years ago that Genaro García Luna had links to drug trafficking, and more recently, In the book “The Secret History”, he pointed toThe former president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), for the same situation.
However, this last accusation has been pointed out as a lie, and has even earned him criticism and attacks from the Morena sympathizers and militants.

In that sense, at the end of the hearing where they handed down the sentence against Genaro García Luna, who was sentenced to 38 years in prison, Anabel Hernández was verbally attacked by Morena militants and sympathizers.
The protesters shouted words like: “traitor!”, “sold out!”, “you’re a drug trafficker too,” “traitor to the country,” “what does it feel like to be a gossip?”, “thief!” and more.
AMLO supporters shouted at the journalist as they followed her down the street in Brooklyn, and claimed that she “ran like a rat.”
For its part, Anabel Hernández just laughed at the comments against her, Because while the Morenistas harassed her, she spoke on the phone.

What did Anabel Hernández say about Genaro García Luna?
Since 2008, the investigative journalist Anabel Hernández documented the relationships that García Luna had with Mexican drug trafficking.
In 2010, in his book titled “The Narco Lords”, exposed the assets of the former high-ranking official in Mexico, and subsequently received death threats against him.
And although she is part of those who accused the former head of Security of the crimes for which he was convicted in the United States, the criticism against him dates back to his latest statements against AMLO and the 4T.
