BJP Election Strategist Prashant Kishore Says Party’s Success Not Solely Due to Modi’s Popularity

Singhwara: BJP has emerged victorious in three states – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan – in the recent state assembly elections. Election strategist Prashant Kishore has attributed the party’s success to factors beyond Prime Minister Modi’s popularity.

Kishore stated, “The reason why the BJP got more votes in the three states it won was not just because of PM Modi’s popularity. The reason for that is beyond that. Hindutva policy, nationalism, BJP’s financial-organizational strength, and various people’s programs are the key factors.”

He also emphasized the importance of the opposition parties having at least three of these four best alternatives to defeat the BJP. Kishore highlighted the need for a better plan for the people, stating that failure is highly likely without it.

Kishore further pointed out that the Congress party’s victories in Karnataka and Telangana were due to people seeking an alternative to the ruling party in those states, and the Congress was seen as that alternative.

The remarks by Prashant Kishore come as a reminder that political success often hinges on a range of factors, and not just the popularity of individual leaders.
