It is necessary to create a link between the education system and the labor market.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population said this Anar Aliyev during the Education Development Forum held in Baku.

He noted that the ministry is implementing employment programs.

“In addition, job seekers are involved in vocational training. Today, the solution to the problems facing education and the labor market should not rest solely with the state. The private sector should also join in this activity. The vocational training provided is organized in accordance with the needs of the labor market. We can provide training in 170 specialties. Next year we plan to expand cooperation in this area with the private sector,” said the Deputy Minister.

It should be noted that the Education Development Forum is being held in Baku.

The main goal of the Forum is to provide an appropriate platform for joint dialogue and comprehensive support for the process of educational development, as well as for the sustainable development of partnerships between the state, universities and industry.

The Forum annually provides a useful platform for discussing the most important issues relating to the current state of the country’s education system, integration into the economy, and prospects for the development of public-private partnerships.
