Today, Tuesday, the youth ambassadors in Anbar Governorate launched a national campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs, as part of national efforts to combat the spread of drugs and educate society about their health and social risks.
The coordinator of the Supreme Youth Council in the governorate, Doaa Ibrahim Al-Dulaimi, told the (INA): “The Anbar Youth Ambassadors, under the auspices of the Supreme Youth Council, launched a broad awareness campaign to introduce the harms and dangers of drugs,” indicating that “the campaign comes within the framework of national efforts to combat the spread of drugs.” Drugs and educating society about their health and social risks.
She added, “The climate change team and the team with disabilities participated in the campaign,” adding that “the campaign included educational sessions that were held in cafes, markets, public roads, universities, and schools throughout the districts and districts of the governorate, with the aim of spreading awareness about the negative effects of drugs on mental and physical health and the threat they pose.” On social security.
She pointed out that “awareness leaflets and brochures were distributed during the campaign, carrying clear messages urging people to stay away from drugs and ways to deal with addiction.”
In turn, “Citizens praised the vital role played by youth ambassadors in promoting community awareness,” stressing “the importance of united efforts among various local and national bodies to limit the spread of this dangerous scourge.”
