On Monday 2 December, at the Constantinople Church Theater in Angri (SA), a special meeting will be held with Teresa Manes to present her book “Andrea, over the pink trousers” (Graus editions).
The event, organized by Meánscoil Angri “Galvani Opromolla”, will start at 10:00 am and will be aimed at the students of the school, under the guidance of the Director Anna Scimone.
Teresa manes, mother of Andrea Spezzacatena, will be present at this event, which will focus on critical issues such as bullying, acceptance and resilience. “Andrea, over the pink trousers” he tells the tragic story of his son, Andrea Spezzacatena, a 15-year-old young man who committed suicide in November 2012 because of the violence he suffered from bullying and cyberbullying.
The book, in a heartbreaking and painful tone, recreates the last moments of AndreaS life, offering a voice to those who can no longer defend themselves and giving hope to those who have had similar experiences. Teresa Manes hopes that her testimony can serve as a support for those who are fighting against forms of discrimination and violence among young people.
The meeting with Teresa Manes is also an important opportunity to raise awareness for all participants, encouraging reflection on urgent social phenomena and the need to tackle bullying in schools.
