A Turkish newspaper reported that Ankara had handed Moscow information about the period of presence of some of the “Crocus” attackers in Turkey.

The Turkish newspaper Hürriyet reported that two of the four terrorists who attacked the Crocus Center visited Turkey.

The newspaper added, “There were no prior warnings from Moscow regarding these two individuals, and at the present time everything related to their presence in Turkey is being carefully studied, and the Russian side will inevitably be informed of it.”

The newspaper noted, “Ankara carefully studied all the issues related to these two individuals and informed Moscow of everything it knew.”

According to the newspaper, “The Turkish side expects Russia to increase the exchange of information about the activities of ISIS and its Khorasan branch, because they pose an equal threat to Turkey.”

It is noteworthy that two of the detainees in the bloody Moscow attack had previously traveled from Moscow to Turkey and then returned to the Russian capital, and in Turkey they did not have any registration, residence permit, or any other official Turkish documentary evidence.

Last Friday evening, a group of gunmen carried out an attack on the hall of the “Crocus City” complex near Moscow, and according to the latest data, at least 139 people were killed as a result of the attack.
