Spotify users have been waiting for the annual review of their personal soundtrack for days. Now the streaming service has published the most listened to musicians in Germany.
The streaming service Spotify has published the music and podcast highlights of the year for the tenth time in a row. “Spotify Wrapped” – which means “summarized” in German – presents the most listened to artists and songs in 2024 as an interactive review.

What is notably noticeable is the increasing fusion of different genres, such as in the form of crossover projects between pop and rap. There is also an increased interest in retro sounds from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. When it comes to the most streamed songs in Germany, “I Like the Way You Kiss Me” by Artemas dominates the annual rankings.
The song “Wunder,” a collaboration between Ayliva and Apache 207, takes second place, while “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone comes in third. When it comes to albums,Ayliva’s “In Liebe” tops the German charts,followed by Taylor Swift’s ”The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” and another Ayliva album,”Schwarzes Herz”.
For its tenth anniversary, Spotify is introducing several new features. Users can now explore their personal musical phases of the year in an individualized data story, highlighting up to three different musical phases. A new “Music Evolution Playlist” documents the development of personal listening habits over the year.
Particularly loyal fans can also watch exclusive video messages from their favorite artists directly in the app. The participating German artists include Nina Chuba, Luciano, Ayliva and Cro.
