That’s not what they ordered: business partners from the Swabian company Roto Frank found anti-Israel notes in a delivery. The company wants to clarify the incident.

Israeli business partners of a Swabian manufacturer of fittings and seals for windows and doors experienced a nasty surprise: in the delivery from the company Roto Frank Fenster- und Türtechnologie GmbH, based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen (Esslingen district), there were several pieces of paper with the inscription “Fuck Israel ” was included, as the Israeli news platform “ynetnews” reported. The German company promised comprehensive information.

According to the Israeli news platform “ynetnews”, the affected Israeli entrepreneurs said that it was unacceptable to receive anti-Semitic and hateful material, especially from Germany. They were completely shocked when they opened the package and found the notes with the insults. The media had previously reported on the incident.

The chairman of the Roto Frank management, Marcus Sander, emphasized that anti-Semitism, discrimination and any form of hatred had no place in the company and would be condemned in the strongest possible terms. “We will ensure clarity in the unacceptable and highly condemnable incident in which a consignment of goods from Roto-Beschlags was labeled with anti-Israel messages.”

We are taking this incident very seriously and have immediately initiated internal and external measures and investigations to clarify the background. “Together with the relevant authorities, we will do everything we can to identify those responsible and ensure that appropriate consequences follow.”

These investigations take some time due to the complexity of the international flow of goods and deliveries, said Sander. The Baden-Württemberg anti-Semitism commissioner Michael Blume said that Roto Frank responded to the anti-Semitic incident with a very clear statement and also sought contact with him. “I consider both to be exemplary and support the company in dealing with the anti-Semitic incidents.”
