System for checking text borrowings “Anti-plagiarism” implemented a new feature to the service, thanks to which the platform will be able to find machine-generated text from ChatGPT or other neural networks. The feature will be available to paid users of the service from May 2023.

The algorithm that allows you to identify text from neural networks is an in-house development of Antiplagiarism and was created on the basis of research on natural language processing. It uses artificial intelligence algorithms and has been trained and tested on a significant amount of texts, which, according to the developers, eliminates the risk of false positives. Now, when checking texts, Antiplagiarism will detect generated fragments, and the document itself will be marked as “suspicious”. As stated by the company’s executive director Yuri Chekhovich: “Despite all the success of ChatGPT or Jasper, their texts are still different from those written by a person.”
