It should be noted that the latest (technologically) generation of agricultural robots, make use of artificial intelligence and minimize human involvement. Robots can help make up for a shortage of manpower on the one hand, but on the other hand there is a growing fear of security threats that could take over supplies.
All this adds to the industry that has already been damaged as a result of the war in Ukraine and the corona crisis. Last year, one of the world’s largest meat processing companies was required to pay a ransom by hackers after experiencing a cyber attack. The company paid $ 11 million in return.
