Apologies for Dr. Zakir Naik’s statement regarding PIA

by times news cr

(24News) Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik apologized for his statement regarding Pakistan Airlines.

Zakir Naik said in an event that I was asked by Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri to forget the PIA incident, on which I wondered if I had said anything about it. So the governor reminded me of the incident again.

He said, “I knew that there was a lot of tension on social media about this, then I realized that what I said was right or not?” But the matter was right in its place, the way the British created hatred, I don’t want tension between India and Pakistani brothers. Sorry, our real goal is to get a passport to heaven, not a worldly passport.

It should be noted that Zakir Naik had told a few days ago during an event in Karachi that in the beginning of October, when he was coming to Pakistan on the invitation of the government of Pakistan, the PIA administration had collected money from him for his goods. He had told that there were 6 people in his convoy and the weight of his luggage was up to 1000 kg, PIA charged extra money for the luggage but on his intervention the airline management agreed to give 50% discount. Zakir Naik also criticized the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIA without naming him and said that in an Islamic country like Pakistan, airlines like PIA received baggage money from him, while India did not. I don’t even take money from Hindu people. Zakir Naik’s video criticizing PIA went viral on social media, on which social media users also took him down.
