CUPERTINO, Calif., January 28, 2026 — Apple is rolling out Creator Studio, a new subscription bundle giving access to six professional creative apps and premium content within its iWork suite, starting today. The bundle costs $12.99 monthly or $129 annually, offering a compelling value for creative professionals and hobbyists alike.

A Creative Toolkit, Now Subscription-Based

Apple’s new Creator Studio bundles popular pro apps, offering significant savings for frequent users.

  • The Creator Studio subscription includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro.
  • Access to Motion, Compressor, and MainStage is also included for Mac users.
  • Subscribers gain premium content for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
  • Students and educators qualify for a discounted rate of $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

What exactly does Apple’s Creator Studio offer? The subscription unlocks a suite of powerful tools, including Final Cut Pro for video editing, Logic Pro for music production, and Pixelmator Pro for image manipulation – all available on both Mac and iPad. Additional Mac-only apps, Motion for motion graphics, Compressor for video encoding, and MainStage for live performance, are also part of the package.

New Features Enhance Creative Workflows

Alongside the launch of Creator Studio, Apple announced several new features across its creative applications. Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad now boasts Transcript Search for locating specific soundbites, Visual Search to pinpoint moments based on descriptions, and Beat Detection for syncing visuals to music. The iPad version also gains Montage Maker for quick edits and Auto Crop for content reframing.

Logic Pro users will benefit from Synth Player, Chord ID, a refreshed sound library, and natural language search capabilities. Apple Creator Studio also provides access to MainStage, transforming Macs into versatile instruments, voice processors, or guitar rigs.

Did you know? Pixelmator Pro, acquired by Apple in 2024, is now available on iPad for the first time, expanding its reach to a wider audience of creators.

iWork Suite Gets a Boost

The benefits extend beyond the professional apps. A Creator Studio subscription unlocks a new “Content Hub” within Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, offering access to high-quality photos, graphics, and illustrations. Premium templates and themes are also available for these productivity applications.

Keynote subscribers gain access to beta features, including tools to generate presentation drafts from text outlines, create presenter notes from existing slides, and streamline layouts. Numbers users can leverage Magic Fill to automatically generate formulas and populate tables using pattern recognition.

Apple emphasized that Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage will remain available for one-time purchase on the Mac App Store, while free versions of Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Freeform will continue to be offered. All new Creator Studio subscribers will receive a one-month free trial, beginning January 28.

“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills by providing easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity — all leveled up with advanced intelligent tools to augment and accelerate workflows,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services.
