The growing phenomenon of dazzling Jewish drivers by laser on the roads of Judea and Samaria and in particular on the Alon Road in Binyamin, near the terrorist village of El Muayir, endangers the lives of passengers but remains unanswered by security forces and so far not a single suspect has been arrested.
The IDF confirmed that they are aware of the dangerous phenomenon and are working to stimulate and even distributed flyers warning the villagers against the continued use of lasers, but in practice they have difficulty locating the exact source of the lasers and so far have not been able to arrest suspects.
Residents of the area threatened tonight (Sunday) to go out to protest on Alon Road and are preparing to hold security patrols on their behalf due to the deteriorating security situation in the area and after today vehicles were damaged in two stone attacks carried out near El Muayir and Bens had no casualties.

The IDF said: “Recently, a phenomenon began in which suspects from the village of El Mu’ayir in the Benjamin Territorial Brigade blinded the passengers on Alon Road near the village with a laser. “The IDF views this phenomenon seriously and acts in a variety of ways and in cooperation with the other security forces in the sector to eradicate the phenomenon.”
