On the 5th, tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Ask the Stars’ (written by Seo Sook-hyang/directed by park Shin-woo) released a still cut of Lee Min-ho, who plays the role of a dinosaur.
‘Ask the Stars’ is a drama depicting the extraterrestrial life of Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), the boss who works on a zero-gravity space station, and Dinosaur (played by Lee Min-ho), an uninvited guest with a secret mission.
Lee Min-ho plays the role of Dinosaur, an obstetrician and gynecologist who stays on the space station for several days as a space tourist. Dinosaur is the future son-in-law of MZ Group, Korea’s largest conglomerate, with clear convictions and integrity, and is full of loyalty and confidence. Not long before getting married, they start space tourism by paying an astronomical amount of money. On the outside, it looks like a leisurely wandering, but he has a secret mission hidden in him that he cannot tell anyone, and attention is focused on whether the dinosaur will succeed in this mission.
As can be seen in the released photo, Lee Min-ho explained the dinosaur character who went on Mission Impossible in space, saying, ”He is a person who lives a very ordinary and ordinary life, but shows his own beliefs and obsession with life that some people do not understand.” He went on to say, “It looked pretty to see him trying to do what he was given. The passion, honesty, and loyalty that do not hesitate in front of life are not refined and are expressed in themselves,” and chose the character’s charm as ‘purity.’
In addition, the reason for choosing ‘Ask the Stars’ as a return work was, “As times are accelerating these days, aren’t we living in an era where what is good and what is vital to humans is becoming more and more blurred? Maybe that’s why it is set in the purest, unknown space called the universe. “I was attracted to the story of how people who feel the preciousness of life meet each other,” he said, adding that he felt warmth from the story of the work.
To that extent, while working on the work, Lee Min-ho said, “I thought that the greater my determination to protect what I consider most critically important, the wider the range of expressions that dinosaurs can contain can expand.”
Lastly, “Because the background is space, I think you will be able to enjoy the feeling of weightlessness, the emotion that can only be felt in space, and the vastness of the screen. I think the unique colors of our work will be refreshing, and I will feel agreeable watching the events happening in the play.“I hope you will naturally follow along and enjoy it as it is,” he added, making people look forward to the first broadcast.
First broadcast on january 4th next year.
