Siddique shares his experiences with Dulquer Salmaan. Siddique said that he has been seeing Dulquer since he was three years old and since his childhood he was not very talkative. In an interview with Milestone Makers, Siddique also spoke about Dulquer’s candid response when asked about his film.
“I met Dulquer for the first time when I was three years old. An incident happened when he got a little bigger. Mammooka and I have to go for a shoot. Mammooka said you come home in the morning and we will go together. When I went home in the morning, Dulquer was sitting there. No talking at all. He just sat there saying uncle.
At that time, one of my films was released. He was asked if he had seen it, and he said he had. When asked how he felt, he said very predictable. What an intelligent replay. It’s not that the movie is bad or good. I said ok bro.
A memory before that was the shooting of Mammooka’s Purapaad. He had shaved off his mustache for another film. He acted with a moustache. The shooting is also in the guest house where Mammooka lives. That is why Itta and his children have come with him.
Mammooka came in the afternoon, ate and left to take a shot. Dulquer had never seen this. When he comes back, he asks Surumi about Mammooka’s departure. He asked whether Vapachi went or Meesha. His love for his father was in that question of whether he had a moustache. Because don’t forget to put a moustache,’ said Siddique.
However, Ntalia is Siddique’s last released film. Directed by Bash Mohammad, the film stars Suraj Venjaramood in the lead role. The film, starring Gayatri Arun and Lena, hit the theaters on January 6.
