The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, confirmed today, Friday, that Iraq reserves its full right to respond to the Australian action.

He pointed out, “In view of this, and in order to protect Iraq’s gains, its name, and its international standing, we call on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hand over a note of protest to the Australian ambassador in Baghdad to understand the reasons for the rejection, as this behavior offends Iraq and its masses,” indicating, “We reserve our right to respond and deal reciprocally according to the frameworks.” Accredited diplomacy.
