ASVEL announced on Friday that it has recruited American forward Andre Roberson as a medical freelancer to address the numerous absences the club is facing.
Villeurbanne, where several team players are injured, announced Friday the hiring of American forward Andre Roberson as a medical freelancer. The 2.01m player, 32 years old, who played mainly in Oklahoma City in the NBA between 2013 and 2020 (333 games), will compensate for the absence of Edwin Jackson, injured behind a thigh and unavailable until the end of the season year.
Roberson, then at Cholet already as a freelancer, had worked hard for the victory of Mauges’ team over ASVEL (101-87) on November 3rd in Elite, with 19 points (7/9 shooting and 3/4 three-pointers ) and five rebounds. ASVEL will face Turkish club Fenerbahçe Istanbul this Friday evening in the Euroleague (8pm).
