At least 15 dead and 33 survivors in a shipwreck in Indonesia

At least 15 people lost their lives and 33 were rescued after the sinking of a passenger ship south of the Celebes Islands, in the central region of the Indonesian archipelago.

As reported by the local authorities on Monday, the ship, loaded with about 40 people, sank around midnight, for reasons that are still unknown, while was making a route between two towns in the province of Southeast Celebes.

However, in the afternoon, after checking all the data, the authorities they raised the number of survivors to 33 and declared the end of the search operation.
