Dismay in Serbia. Late this Thursday, the local authorities in Mladenovac, 42 kilometers south of Belgrade, reported a new deadly shooting in the country.

For its part, the Serbian Interior Ministry issued a statement early Friday morning reporting the shooting. “There are people who do not show signs of life and several were injured,” he said. In turn, they activated an operation to surround the gunman. All available police forces in the region are in and around Mladenovac.
