During the campaign, the residents of Sigulda region, upon presentation of the Sigulda ID card, will be able to transfer an unlimited number of passenger car tires without rims, as well as an unlimited number of bicycle and motorcycle tires, free of charge.
At the same time, if the number of tires exceeds ten units, their transfer must be coordinated with the customer service center in advance, according to the company’s website.
Tractor and truck tires will not be accepted during the campaign.
Tires can be handed over at the waste sorting area “Zemdegas” during its working hours on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 17:00, Wednesdays from 15:00 to 19:00, Thursdays from 10:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
The company reminds that used car tires are environmentally harmful waste and their placement in unauthorized places is a punishable act, as well as dangerous, as it can create risks of fire safety and environmental pollution.
The company “Jumis” was registered in December 1991, and its share capital is 56,914 euros. The company belongs to the municipality of Sigulda region.
