Vishal Verma, Jalaun: While promoting Mission Shakti, the state government has now planned to link Asha and Anganwadi workers with Ayushman scheme. This will enable the workers to get direct benefits of health related schemes. After this order of the government, 1,197 Asha and 2,429 Anganwadi workers of the district will now get free treatment facilities. She will be able to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any registered private and government hospital in the country.
In fact, in 2020 itself, the government had asked for the list of Asha workers and Anganwadi from the district. Now it has been implemented in 2024 and the making of Ayushman card has started. On behalf of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, instructions have been given to the Medical Superintendents and Incharge Medical Officers of all the blocks to quickly make Ayushman cards of all the Asha workers and companions of their respective development blocks. With this, if needed, they can get treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh.
Card can be made by doing self KYC
District Program Coordinator of Ayushman Yojana, Ashish Kumar Jha said that by registering yourself with the help of Ayushman application, you can do e-KYC with the help of your Aadhar card. Along with this, any Asha and Anganwadi worker can get his Ayushman card made through self-registration. If there is any inconvenience, he can get his Ayushman card issued through Ayushman Mitra in any registered hospital, through CHO in Ayushman Arogya Mandir, apart from this, through Panchayat Assistant in Panchayat Secretariat.
