Azerbaijan will host the World Cup again

In June 2026, Azerbaijan will once again become the center of the judo world and host the World Championships.

According to İdman.biz, an agreement has been reached in this regard between the International Judo Federation and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.

Licensing judo qualification competitions for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will begin with the World Championships in Baku.

This prestigious event is eagerly awaited by the global judo community in the new Olympic era. The strongest athletes from many countries of the world will compete in the capital Baku.

Earlier in 2018, Azerbaijan hosted the World Judo Championship and organized an international sporting event at a high level.
