BAARN Aromatherapy Practice, run by Tineke Evers, a certified naturopathic aromatherapist, is located at Eemnesserweg 16 in Baarn. She combines her experience as a nurse with her expertise for natural solutions.
Tineke: “Aromatherapy is an age-old concept in which scents and oils are used for both physical and psychological complaints. This may sound a bit vague, but it really isn’t. Our sense of smell is able to activate our nervous system. We offer tailor-made solutions to reduce tension, influence mood, reduce anxiety and more. From skin problems such as shingles, eczema and psoriasis to easing psychological discomfort, aromatherapy offers a holistic approach to a wide range of conditions.”
SALT ROOM
Aromatherapy Practice also offers a unique salt room experience, where halotherapy is applied. Tineke poses for the photographer in the beautiful salt room. She explains: “Salt therapy is a natural, medication-free treatment for lung and skin problems. In this salt chamber you inhale fine salt particles, which clean the airways, dissolve mucus and strengthen the immune system. A 45-minute stay provides support in relieving complaints from conditions such as COPD, eczema, bronchitis and hay fever. This halotherapy is one hundred percent natural. As an introduction: the first salt room session is free!”
