Ever since Shaheen Shah Afridi was replaced by Babar Azam as Pakistan’s new captain, there have been rumors of conflict. Now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) added fuel to the fire of that rumor. As they continued their fabricated statements in the name of Shaheen, the trouble became more pronounced.

On the day Babar was announced as the captain, a statement appeared on Shaheen’s nan on the PCB website. It read, ‘It is an ultimate honor to captain the Pakistan national team. I will always cherish this memory and opportunity. As a team player, it is our duty to support captain Babar Azam.

‘I played under him and I have nothing but respect for him. I will try to support him on and off the field. We are all one. Our goal is the same, to make Pakistan the best team in the world.’ – There are more added.

Although everything is fine so far, the new news is that Afridi did not make that statement. PCB printed such fabricated statement without talking to him. This pacer is very angry. According to the cricket-based website ESPNcricinfo, the left-handed pacer also tried to make another statement in this regard. But the PCB stopped him on the basis of urgency.

Shaheen, however, does not stop there. Bouncer gave back. He is scheduled to have a meeting with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi today. Shaheen was not happy to be removed from the captaincy like this. The former captain has just made such a statement on him.

Earlier, the PCB removed Shaheen from the captaincy of the two formats and re-instated the old captain Babar Azam. Babar will remain Pakistan’s captain in ODIs and T20s until the World Cup. The PCB took this decision mainly because of Shaheen’s leadership in the 5-match T20 series tour of New Zealand.
