American improvisational comedian and actor Joe Flahertyone of the protagonists of the Canadian series Second City Television (SCTV) and the NBC series Freaks and Geeksdied at the age of 82, according to his family.
Flaherty, who also participated in films such as Happy Gilmore (1996) together with Adam Sandler Back to the Future 2 (1989), he was a companion to some actors from the ‘golden age’ of Canadian comedy: the late John Candy, Martin Short, Rick Moranis and Catherine O’Hara among others.
