The Puerto Rican reggaeton player Bad Bunny joins the Latin celebrities who tested positive for coronavirus, a list that already included the Colombians Karolg G and J Balvin, although according to sources close to the artist, he feels well and does not present serious symptoms.
The “Yo perreo sola” singer canceled his physical participation in the 2020 American Music Awards (AMA) last Sunday due to his diagnosis, announced by his representation agency Lacoustyle in a statement after the awards.
At the AMAs, Bad Bunny won the awards for “Favorite Male Artist – Latin” and “Favorite Album – Latin” for his album “YHLQMDLG” and presented the “Favorite Female Artist – Latin” category virtually through a video from his home in Los Angeles.
His presentation with Jhay Cortez was scheduled for the ceremony, performing his new hit “Dákiti”, but due to the positive diagnosis for Coronavirus he had to cancel at the last minute.
