Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said, Bangladesh is now a death valley due to the development of the dummy government. He said that the government has put people’s lives in crisis by clearing forests, filling rivers and canals for unplanned urbanization and setting up thermal power and coal power plants. Bangladesh has now been turned into a gas chamber.

He said these things while inaugurating the 7-day program of distribution of drinking water and saline in Mirpur on behalf of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP among the pedestrians of the city who are fed up with the intense heat wave going on across the country on Saturday (April 27).

The event was presided over by the Acting Convenor of Dhaka Metropolitan North. Farhad Halim Donor and Managed by Member Secretary Aminul Haque.

Central leaders Tabid Awal, Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, Anwaruzzaman Anwar, Mostafa Zaman, Ataur Rahman Chairman, Mostafizur Rahman Segun, Abdur Razzak and others also spoke.

Criticizing the Prime Minister, Rizvi said that the Prime Minister said yesterday that his father’s ideals must be implemented. His father’s ideology was Bakshal, where there will be no democracy, no freedom of expression of people. On that day, all newspapers were closed except for 4 newspapers. Journalists became unemployed and sold fruits in Baitul Mukarram.

He said that in the last 17 to 18 years, the Prime Minister has established a formidable economy in the country. Established dangerous trades. Democracy has been taken away from the country, people’s rights have been taken away. Because of this people can no longer vote. Parliament has been turned into an entertainment house. If you tell the truth, you will be put in jail. Even after 52 years of independence, my brothers have to give their lives for the right to vote. The country has been ruined by corruption and looting. So much disappearance, so much torture, so much oppression, still the voice of the people could not be silenced. The movement of people could not be suppressed. BNP leaders stand by the countrymen in all calamities.

Criticizing Obaidul Quader, Rizvi said that they oppose Pakistan verbally. Kader sahib is saying that Pakistan has been talking about their development for the past few days, but BNP does not see Pakistan’s development. Now they are full of praise for Pakistan. In fact, Mr. Obaidul Quader has adopted the policy of duplicity.

Rizvi also said that due to the installation of thermal power plants by burning coal, the fruit trees are not bearing fruit anymore. 53 percent of places outside Dhaka city do not have electricity. The people of Awami League have occupied those places by filling the ponds and reservoirs.

He also said that Awami League leaders are making second homes by smuggling money abroad. Bangladesh has been made an arena of looting. They are not able to import goods from abroad due to dollar crisis.
