Bank “Intesa” announced a change in tariffs for servicing accounts of individuals in rubles and foreign currency. In particular, from August 1, the bank will begin to charge a commission for depositing cash dollars and euros into the account, reported on the credit institution’s website.

When depositing currency in the amount of up to $100,000 or euros, 5% of the amount will be charged, when depositing more cash – 10%, the bank said.

In October last year, Intesa suspended clients’ foreign currency transfers without opening an account and via Internet banking due to delays in outgoing payments, their return and blocking by correspondent banks. The bank indicated that delays in outgoing payments, their refunds or blocking by banks are beyond its control and responsibility.

Intesa advised that the risk of the bank not being able to make a payment in euros is “extremely high”. In the same month, the bank worsened the conditions for foreign currency transfers: from October 21, transactions in euros to accounts in other banks began to be subject to a commission of 10% with a minimum amount of 300 euros.
