Banking transactions may be interrupted for four consecutive days. Saturday and Sunday are bank holidays. There will be a national strike on Monday and Tuesday. Online transactions may also be affected as employees in the banking sector in the state are part of the strike. Wednesday and Thursday are working days but the financial year end is busy. Friday is the end of the year census. There will be no transactions. Two Saturdays will be working days.
There is a treasury today and tomorrow
The treasuries will be open on Saturday and Sunday. It will reopen on Sunday amid a national strike. There will be no financial transactions on that day. Pending bills and checks will be passed. Accept new check and bill and pass.
Bills and checks can be paid up to Rs
Government bills and checks for the current financial year can be deposited in the Treasury from 5:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Paper copy of bills and checks issued online should be submitted as per the guidelines issued by the Finance Department by March 9.
