Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in the matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The player is 17 years and 105 days old. He surpassed the achievement of Alfonso Navarro, who scored in 1947 at the age of 17 years and 356 days.
Real Madrid ended its 42-match unbeaten streak in the Spanish Championship. The previous time Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost in the national championship was on September 24, 2023. Then Atlético turned out to be stronger than Real (3:1). Barcelona had a longer streak without defeat in the Spanish Championship in 2017-2018 and amounted to 43 matches.
Barcelona scored 30 points and leads the championship standings. Real suffered their first defeat in the current tournament; the team from Madrid is in second place with 24 points.
