As a result, the maximum age limit for entering the service of all cadres of Bangladesh Civil Service will be fixed at 32 years. Besides, the maximum age limit for entering all government jobs outside the scope of Bangladesh Civil Service will be fixed at 32 years.

According to the notification, in the case of autonomous, semi-autonomous organizations, self-recruitment rules will be applicable subject to necessary adaptations. In the case of Defense Services and Law Enforcement Forces, respective recruitment rules will remain in force.
