Nelson made his directorial debut with Little Superstar Simbu’s Hunt King. The film was delayed due to some issues. Following this, the movie Kolamavu Kokila directed by him with Lady Superstar Nayantara was very well received.
Nelson later joined Sivakarthikeyan. The Doctor he starred in directed the film. The film was released in theaters a few months ago and enjoyed blockbuster success. The film also grossed over Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Nelson is currently directing the upcoming Nelson film starring Vijay. The film stars Pooja Hegde opposite Vijay. Anirudh is composing the music for the film. The shooting of the film is over and the background work is in full swing.
The shooting cost of the Beast movie has gone higher than director Nelson said. As a result, the Sun Pictures side is deeply dissatisfied with Nelson. But, Nelson threw the blame on Udayakumar, the film’s production manager. Although director Nelson Late sometimes came to the shooting, Udayakumar kept it a secret until later. Now there is talk in the Kollywood circles that Nelson has put a wedge on the person who helped him when he had a problem.
