Operator «Beeline» disabled the option of unlimited calls to Ukraine on some archived tariffs, reported in the company’s press service.

“On December 21, 2023, options with unlimited calls to Ukraine will be disabled on some archived tariffs. We will send a personal SMS notification to subscribers affected by the changes,” the message says.

The options “Calls without borders”, “My Ukraine” and “Calls to Ukraine” will no longer be available. The operator’s base price for calls to the CIS countries, Georgia, and Ukraine is now 35 rubles/minute.

In March, Deputy Minister of Communications of the DPR Ruslan Lebedev told Vedomosti that the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia has approved the installation of 400 cellular base stations in the DPR by March 1, 2024. This will have to be done by the local operator Phoenix (SUE DPR ROS). Other operators who want to start working in the region will have to build a similar number of base stations.
