BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia returned to her home in Gulshan after 8:00 PM after undergoing several urgent physical examinations at Ever Care Hospital in the capital.

The BNP Chairperson was taken to the hospital around 8:30 pm on Wednesday (March 13) as part of a routine health check-up. Later, after some physical tests, the doctors decided to admit him to the hospital.

BNP media wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that according to the decision of the medical board, after the physical emergency examination of the madam, everything was fine, today (Thursday) permission was given to take Gulshan residence to Feroza from Evercare Hospital after Iftar.

Incidentally, since Khaleda Zia went to jail on February 8, 2018, her illness has been on the rise and fall. During the corona epidemic, he returned home after being released conditionally by the executive order of the government on March 25, 2020. Then went to the hospital several times. Finally, in the middle of last year, his physical condition deteriorated.

On October 26 last year, three specialist doctors from the John Hopkins Hospital in the United States came to Bangladesh to treat Khaleda Zia. Khaleda’s condition started to improve soon after their treatment. Khaleda Zia returned home on the evening of January 11 this year after spending 156 days in the hospital on that journey. After that, he was again taken to Evercare Hospital on February 8 for a health check-up.
