Bianco, Rosso and Verdone from 1981 (scheduled for Saturday 13 November on Premium Cinema 3 at 10.40pm) the second film effort by Carlo Verdone. Fresh from the success of the previous A lot beautiful (1980), the director tries his hand at a new episodic film, produced by Sergio Leone and with music by Ennio Morricone. In addition to directing Verdone he plays three characters, who have become cult over the years: the shy and naive Mimmo, the emigrant Pasquale Ametrano (who doesn’t utter a word, except at the end) and the talkative and nagging Furio Zccano. Alongside the protagonist there is no shortage of charismatic actors who quickly entered the hearts of the public. Here’s what happened to them.
