When the police asked for documents from these youth during vehicle inspection, they became reluctant to give the documents. After this the police became suspicious of their activities.

Actually, the police, while taking action against a gang involved in bike theft from Khair police station area, has arrested these five youths along with five stolen bikes.

Sub-divisional police officer Satish Suman said that the police was running a vehicle checking campaign in Khair police station area late last Wednesday evening. During this time, documents were demanded from a bike driver. But he did not submit any documents. During this he told that he had bought this bike from the garage. The number plate on the bike was that of an auto. After that the team took its investigation further and the entire game was exposed.

Further investigation revealed the fact that this bike was stolen. After this, the Superintendent of Police formed a special team to investigate this matter. This police team has busted a gang involved in buying and selling stolen bikes and detained five people. Of the five seized bikes, three were stolen from Kotwali and two from Alamganj police station area of Patna district. An FIR has also been registered regarding this.
