Tollywood actor and Trinamool MLA Kanchan Mallick and actress Pinky Banerjee have officially divorced after a long hiatus. On January 10, a Kolkata court granted the couple’s divorce petition.
Kanchan Mallick is involved in an extramarital affair with Indian Bengali television actress Srimoy Chattraj, famous for ‘Krishnakali’ – Kanchan’s wife Pinki Banerjee threw a tantrum alleging such in 2021. They have a son named Osh in their marriage of 9 years. Pinky got the responsibility of the son. Savitri said, ‘Pinki-Kanchan’s son Osh lives in my house. Osh stays with his mother all the time. The baby is fine. Osher is not old enough to understand his parents’ divorce.’
Rumors are flying that Kanchan has given 60 lakh rupees to Pinky for Khorposh. When asked about this, Savitri said, ‘Pinky received money from Kanchan after the divorce. I am their guardian now.’
